Between October 19-21, 2022, the 2nd edition of the International Interdisciplinary Francophone Conference Migration and Minorities, organized by the Faculty of History, Philosophy, and Theology, through the Center for East-European Historical and Socio-Cultural Studies, will be held.

Ph.D. in the same department and by student Nidelchu Valentyna, participated in the "HORIZON EUROPE - Funding opportunities for Romanian researchers and enterprises" Conference, an event organized by the "Dunarea de Jos" University in Galati.


"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, along with the European Commission and the European Parliament, held yesterday, at the Dramatic Theatre, the Conference "HORIZON EUROPE - Funding opportunities for Romanian researchers and enterprises", attended by researchers from Galati and partner universities, representatives of research institutes, local and regional businessmen, officials, members of the Parliament and of the Romanian government.


“Dunărea de Jos'' University of Galati organizes a new admission session for two distance learning and part-time study programmes. There are 8 places at the Faculty of Engineering and Agronomy in Brăila, specialising in Agriculture – part-time study programme (in Buzău) and 17 places at the Faculty of Letters, specialising in Romanian Language and Literature - English Language and Literature – distance learning (in Galați).


From 13-16.09.2022, "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati participates in the 32nd EAIE Conference and Exhibition, the largest international education event of the year, which takes place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Spain. Considered the most important annual meeting of international higher education professionals, participation in the EAIE Conference is an opportunity to dialogue and exchange experiences with more than 6,000 participants attending the event from 95 different countries.


From 19-23 September 2022, "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati will host the first edition of Erasmus+ International Staff Week, organized by the Erasmus+ Office of the International Relations Department. The main theme of the event aims both to promote and strengthen internationalization and digitization strategies in higher education and to develop inter-university cooperation relations.


"Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati, together with the European Commission and the European Parliament, is organising on 19 September 2022, the Conference "HORIZON EUROPE - Funding opportunities for Romanian researchers and enterprises". Horizon Europe is the main EU funding programme for research and innovation, it is one of the largest research and innovation programmes in the world with a budget of 95.5 billion euros. It facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation on the development, support, and implementation of EU policies, whilst considering global challenges.


"Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati is bringing out for competition, for the autumn admission, budgeted seats for the newest PhD fields of Institution Organizing Doctoral Studies (IODS) DJUG. These are Marketing (accredited within the School for Doctoral Studies in Social Humanities by Ministerial Order 4292 of 3.08.2022) and Pharmacy (accredited by Ministerial Order 818 of 19.08.2022 within the School for Doctoral Studies in Biomedical Sciences).


For the fall admission, for the second cycle of full-time studies - Master's programmes of "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati, 215 budgeted seats and 712 tax seats were brought out to competition. Most of the budgeted places are at the Faculty of Engineering, where 53 budgeted places and 120 fee-paying seats are available for four Master's programmes.
